A man named Ramvilas Yadav was fined nearly 157% of the ticket's fare after he failed to deboard the Kanpur-New Delhi Vande Bharat train on time after seeing off his son. Yadav had to travel till New Delhi as the train's automatic doors shut before he could get off. He was fined ₹2,870 while the journey's fare is ₹1,830.
