Eight BJP leaders in Manipur's Jiribam Mandal reportedly submitted their resignations to the party citing the "unwelcome and helpless situation" prevailing in their district and the whole state. The leaders signed a joint letter of resignation addressed to Manipur BJP chief Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi. However, the party clarified that it has not received any resignation letter from them.
