Goldman Sachs has estimated that the Nifty 50 could hit 29,000 by the end of next year, implying a 14% upside from Friday's close. The brokerage also upgraded India's equity markets from "neutral" to "overweight", citing supportive policies and strengthening earnings momentum. However, it noted that India has been a "significant laggard" compared to other emerging markets this year.
