Gujarat's ongoing Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls has revealed over 17 lakh deceased voters still on the list. Officials also found 6.14 lakh voters were absent from their registered addresses, and 30 lakh have permanently migrated. The revision drive, which started on November 4 with booth-level officers distributing enumeration forms in designated areas, will end on December 11.
