Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal told Lok Sabha that as per ECI nearly 42 petitions questioning the EVM machines have been filed in the Supreme Court and various high courts. "The higher judiciary repeatedly held that the machines are credible, reliable and tamper-proof," he added. This comes as the Opposition including Congress questioned EVMs after losing Assembly elections in Maharashtra.
