SEBI uncovered insider trading at Infosys and seized illegal gains worth ₹2.6 crore. The regulator banned two individuals from securities market for one year for being involved in the illegal trading in July 2020, when the company announced partnership with Vanguard. SAT had earlier set aside the market ban saying the extreme step was unnecessary before SEBI's investigation was completed.
