Tata Sons is seeking board approvals to set up a ₹500-crore trust to provide support to the families of the victims of the Air India plane crash that took place in Ahmedabad, The Economic Times reported. Chairman N Chandrasekaran shared the proposal in the first board meeting after the incident, the report added. Over 270 people died in the crash.
