UP government announced Diwali bonus for 14.82 lakh state employees, with each eligible staffer to receive up to ₹6,908. Scheme applies to personnel under pay matrix level 8, whose monthly salaries range from ₹47,600 to ₹1,51,100. Additionally, 1.86 crore Ujjwala Yojana beneficiaries will get a free LPG cylinder refill and government will reimburse amount directly to their linked bank accounts.
