US government has filed a lawsuit against Uber, accusing the ride-hailing company of discriminating against passengers with disabilities and humiliating them. US said Uber drivers routinely refuse to serve riders with disabilities, including people who travel with guide animals or stowable wheelchairs. Drivers illegally overcharge riders in the name of cleaning fees for service animals, it added.
