As per data accessed by Reuters from UN Comtrade, Ireland was the top source of US pharma imports in 2024, followed by Switzerland, Germany, Singapore, India, Belgium, Italy, China, Japan and the UK. US President Donald Trump imposed 100% tariffs on pharmaceutical imports. India's total global pharma exports stood at $30 billion in 2024-25, with US accounting for 31% exports.
