The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) won 34 seats in the Jharkhand Assembly elections, while its alliance partners Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and CPI(ML)(L) won 16, 4 and 2 seats, respectively. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) won 21 seats. Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and Janata Dal (United) won 1 seat each.
