Chandigarh DM Nishant Yadav ordered private firms to ensure women staff are dropped off at home with duly verified guards at night. Cabs to wait until women staff confirm reaching home, the order said, adding the guard would accompany the employee on foot if the approach road is not motorable. GPS should be installed in such cabs, the order said.
