Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's chief of staff, Andriy Yermak, said that Zelenskyy intends to attend the inaugural Mass of newly elected Pope Leo XIV at the Vatican on Sunday. He added that Pope Leo told Zelenskyy in a phone call that he was willing to help arrange meetings and would "do his best" to work towards a lasting peace.
