Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy told Reuters he is seeking a security deal with US in exchange for Ukraine's rare earths, other minerals. Zelenskyy said less than 20% of Ukraine's minerals, including about half its rare earth deposits, were under Russian occupation. This comes days after US President Donald Trump expressed his interest in acquiring access to Ukraine's rare earth elements.
