Google won a legal challenge on Wednesday against a €1.49 billion ($1.66 billion) fine imposed on it by the European Commission in 2019. The EU body had accused Google of abusing its dominance in the online search advertising market with its AdSense platform. The EU's General Court upheld most of the findings but annulled the fine.
